Every fact on Who Pays for Mom links, in the sentence where it appears, to one of the pages below. They are government agencies, state statutes, and major nonprofits. No blog is cited that cites one of them; the original is. The date is the day a person opened the page and confirmed the sentence was on it.
Two notes on method. First, the source's own numbers and year are quoted, never rounded or restated. Second, where the National Institute on Aging's own pages could not be reopened by this desk on the day of writing, only NIA pages already verified in the shared citation bank are cited, and the same ground is covered with Medicare's and Missouri's own lists.
